在纪念抗日战争胜利60周年之际,我们怀着崇敬的心情,驱车来到当年英勇就义的刘胡兰式女英雄杨岭梅烈士故乡——晋州市东卓宿乡南田村。走进南田村西口,就会看到一座雄伟的纪念碑,这就是“杨岭梅烈士纪念碑”。碑的前方矗立着杨岭梅烈士的塑像,塑像下洁白的基座石上,镌刻着“冀中平原刘胡兰式的女英雄——杨岭梅烈士。”这些刚健、遒劲的碑名、题词,都是原冀中军区司令员、全国政协副主席吕正操的亲笔手书。1986年3月,共青团晋县委员会,向全县青少年发出“向杨岭梅烈士学习”的号召,并组织了为烈士捐资修碑活动,
