制作树桩盆景的材料,山野采掘是一重要来源。采桩一般在秋冬季和春季进行。春季所采的桩坯,直接定植即可。秋冬季所采桩材,直接定植,干湿度、温度的控制、保持十分困难,稍有不慎,就会影响成活。埋入地下假植,许多情况下又无此条件,比如住楼房、没有院落等等。笔者有一法可供同好参考。找一个温度较低的地方,屋角、房后、前后阳台等,能保持0℃左右为好。稍高或稍结冰亦可,但最高温度不能长期在5℃以上。准备一些锯屑或素土,把采来的树桩按栽植要求锯截到位,然后连根带枝干全部埋入锯屑或素土中,立着放或横着放均可。具体操作时,可把桩坯埋入一大花
