The “Insurance Law of the People’s Republic of China” passed at the 14th meeting of the Eighth NPC Standing Committee is the first insurance law since the founding of our nation. The Insurance Law regulates the insurance activities and protects the legitimate rights and interests of the insured and the parties involved in the insurance. Strengthen the state regulation of the insurance industry and promote the reform of China’s insurance system will have a positive and far-reaching impact.
