永胜地震是我省发生时间较早而又较强的一次地震,过去一直很少研究。最近见邓瑞生和韩慕康等同志相继发表有关永胜地震的文章,作者觉得很有意思,并提出个人几点看法:1.永胜地震发生时间应为1511年(明正德六年)而不是1515年。2.永胜地震强度不应小于10度(M≥7 1/2)。3.过去与永胜地震相混淆的两次地震,其中1514年大理地震烈度不小于9度(M≥7),1515年鹤庆地震烈度可能是8度(M=6 1/2)。4.永胜地震发震构造是受南北向断裂控制,并受近南北向压应力作用的结果。
The Yongsheng earthquake was an earlier and stronger earthquake in our province and has been rarely studied in the past. Recently I met with Deng Ruisheng and Han Mukang and other comrades have published an article about the Yongsheng Earthquake. The author found it very interesting and made several personal observations: 1. The Yongsheng earthquake should take place in 1511 (6 years instead of 1515) . 2. Yongsheng earthquake intensity should not be less than 10 degrees (M ≥ 7 1/2). 3. In the past, two earthquakes confused with the Yongsheng earthquake, of which the 1514 Dali earthquake intensity was not less than 9 degrees (M≥7) and the Heqing earthquake in 1515 might be 8 degrees (M = 6 1/2). 4. The Yongsheng earthquake seismogenic structure is controlled by north-south faults and is subject to near-north-south compressive stress.
