夹渣是球铁生产中常见的缺陷。我厂生产的泥浆泵缸套其尺寸为φ204~235×360~425,壁厚28~38毫米,因该件产生的二次氧化渣浮不到铸件顶面,故往往在铸件中间形成夹渣缺陷,有时夹渣缺陷占废品率的80%以上。根据国内外经验,以全部铁水球化处理与包面孕育联用,代替原来的二次出铁水处理,能有效地消除球铁缸套的夹渣缺陷。这是因为,原来用的二次冲入法,第二次冲入的铁水中硫、氧过高,常与包内铁水中的各元素反应并生成比重小、粘度大的氧化
