1958年7月1日,由当时的农业部申请,中共中央宣传部批准,原农业部和中国农业机械学会筹委会联合创办了我国第一份全国性的农业机械技术普及刊物——《农业机械》半月刊。杂志的创刊词为“把农具改革运动推向更新的高潮”。杂志最初的任务和宗旨:为积极促进和实现农业技术革命贡献一份力量。1959年2月,杂志编辑部地址由“北京东单老钱局1号”迁到北京东单农业部内。从1959年第13期起,杂志署名的编辑者由“农业部农业机械管理局”变为“中国农学会农业机械学组”。
July 1, 1958 by the then Ministry of Agriculture application, Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee for approval, the former Ministry of Agriculture and China Agricultural Machinery Society Preparatory Committee co-founded China’s first national agricultural machinery popularization magazine - “Agriculture Machinery ”semi-monthly. The magazine’s first issue was “pushing the farm reform movement to the climax of renewal.” Magazine’s initial mission and purpose: to contribute to the active promotion and realization of agricultural technology revolution. In February 1959, the editorial office of the magazine was moved to Beijing Dongdan Agriculture Department by the Beijing Dongdan Lao Qian Ju No.1. From No. 13 in 1959, the editor of the magazine’s signature has been changed from “Agricultural Machinery Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture” to “Agricultural Mechanics Section of the Chinese Agricultural Society.”
