《朱子论“曾点气象”研究》一书可用“三个特点、三个创新”进行概括。三个特点是:多维的研究视角、经纬结合的逻辑架构和对待史料的严谨态度。三个创新是:以“曾点气象”为契入点彰显朱子学乃至理学精神、由《论语集注》的稿本发展看朱子论“曾点气象”的观点演进、注重分析其他气象以及朱子与朋友弟子之间的互动以补充单纯进行思想研究的不足。
