今年2月,天津市史学会和天津市教育局教研室受中国史学会的委托,在天津市举办了一次中学生历史竞赛.这是进一步推动中学历史教学改革和普及历史知识的一个创举.现将天津市史学会副理长吴廷璆同志、中国史学会副秘书长李侃同志和天津市教育局局长刘冀农同志先后在发奖大会上的讲话以及有关这次竞赛的报导发表于下,供读者参考.本刊对三篇讲话稍有删节,题目是编者加的.
In February this year, Tianjin Historical Society and Tianjin Municipal Education Bureau commissioned by the Chinese Historical Society commissioned a high school students in Tianjin history contest, which is to further promote the reform of history teaching in secondary schools and popularization of historical knowledge of a pioneering act now Tianjin Comrade Wu Tinglian, deputy director of the Municipal Historical Society, Comrade Li Kan, deputy secretary general of Chinese Historical Society, and Comrade Liu Ji-nong, director of the Bureau of Education of Tianjin, delivered speeches at the award-winning conference and the reports on the contest were published for readers’ reference.
