Countries and peasants have different goals and considerations regarding the election of village cadres and the public affairs of the village. Behind this is actually the distinction between “state politics” and “village politics.” The direct result of peasants’ attention to village politics is that peasants’ routine interaction with the tools has a strong instrumental rationality, so that the village politics and peasants’ daily life blend with each other and the phenomenon of “politicization of daily life” appears. And it is precisely because of the existence of village politics that rural women, like male villagers, can participate in the public affairs of the village and get recognition and affirmation by the village community through their daily contacts. We can pay attention to the public participation of rural women from the perspective of daily life so as to discover the characteristics of rural women’s public participation under the background of village politics so as to deepen the public participation of rural women.
