2002年12月3日上海成功申办2010年世博会后,上海人民迎世博的行动一天比一天红火。人们在对世博会历史日渐深入的认知中,逐步意识到它是对创新和进步主旨的大展示、大交流、大教育。它对外融入世界、对内提升内涵的强大功能,更使之成为了现代国家崛起过程中的一个关键点。因而,社会各界都在思考中探索、践行着更为有效的途径。
December 3, 2002 After Shanghai successfully bid for the 2010 World Expo, the Shanghai people’s action to welcome the World Expo has been booming day by day. In the increasingly in-depth cognition of the history of World Expo, people are gradually realizing that it is a big show, big exchange and big education for the purpose of innovation and progress. Its integration into the outside world and the powerful function of its internal enhancement have made it a key point in the process of the rise of the modern state. Therefore, all sectors of society are exploring and practicing more effective ways of thinking.
