Correct estimation of the direction of mandibular growth is a fundamental issue in the development of treatment plans and a clear prognosis. The authors investigated this issue by observing the changes in the mandible that occur after monkeys cause mouth resuscitation. Sixteen male Rhesus macaques aged 2 to 30 years old were randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to age, size and craniofacial morphology. Close to the mandibular anterior lower edge and near the mandibular angle at both sides were inserted two stainless steel nails, as a measurement marker. Before the experiment for each monkey shot 5 cranial X-ray film, take the impression of the mouth, and in the continuous observation of 3 years repeated every 3 months filming and touch. The five films were cephalometric films, left oblique films, right oblique films, anteroposterior films and chin top films respectively. Stuffed with silicone rubber plug experimental group of monkey bilateral nostrils, artificially cause mouth breathing. Then mainly through the measuring head
