治疗行动小组(TAG)及其结核病防治合作伙伴发出呼吁,要求结核病零死亡,零发病,以及因结核病而受害的家庭和患者为零,但这个目标何时实现还有待观察.“,”Tuberculosis (TB) not only still affects the health of the American people,it is becoming more formidable.According to the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention,in 2015,the US TB rate increased for the first time since 1992.The TB rate increased from 9421 cases (2.96/100 000) in 2014 to 9557 cases (3.0/100 000) in 2015.Although the growth in the number of patients might not be dramatic,it was enough to cause the US gov ernment and public to become concerned. The reason for the increase is unknown, but unscreened incoming foreign workers,a weakened US TB control system, insufficient funding, and diminished attention by public are the likely culprits. The US government is planning to increase financial and human efforts to reverse this upward trend. Many TB advocacy groups, such as the TB Treatment Group, are working with their partners in the fight against TB and have set a goal of zero deaths from TB,zero new cases of TB infection, and zero suffering from TB.But it remains to be seen when this goal will be met.
