我国地处亚欧大陆的东部,东面靠近环太平洋火山带,南面又有地中海—喜马拉雅火山带穿过。因而,我国是一个多火山的国家。目前,我国已发现的火山有660多座,不过,这些火山绝大多数都是第四纪遗留的死火山,近期有活动的火山很少。这些火山在我国各地的分布也是极不均匀的,比较集中的地区有: 内蒙古高原区:辽阔坦荡的内蒙古高原,是我国火山最集中的地区,这里共有火山270多座。锡林郭勒盟中部阿巴嘎旗的达赉诺尔西北部,有火山100多座,是我国
My country is situated in the eastern part of the Eurasian continent, on the east near the Pacific Rim volcano and on the south another Mediterranean-Himalayan volcano. Thus, my country is a volcanic country. At present, there are over 660 volcanoes found in our country. However, most of these volcanoes are extinct volcanoes left behind by Quaternary.
