The annual meeting of the China Urban Transport Planning Academic Committee and the Academic Symposium were held in Shanghai from December 13th to 17th, 1994. 63 members and representatives from all provinces, municipalities, scientific research institutes, and universities and colleges attended the conference. To promote the development of urban transportation and meet the challenges of the 21st century, 10 young scientists and technicians were invited to participate in the conference. Academic exchanges. This year’s annual meeting will focus on the new situation of China’s urban traffic, sum up experiences and lessons, explore ways of urban traffic construction under the socialist market economy, and the city’s exchange at the end of this century.
