Objective To investigate the levels of NO, CNP, AngⅡ, CGRP and ET in blood of patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) and essential hypertension (CH) and to investigate their correlation. Methods Sixty-two EH patients, 54 CHD patients and 45 normal controls were selected as control group. The contents of CNP, AngⅡ, CGRP and ET in blood were measured by radioimmunoassay, and NO was measured by nitrate reductase method. Results Compared with the control group, the levels of CNP, AngⅡ and ET in EH and CHD groups were significantly increased (P <0.01, 0.05) and the levels of NO and CGRP were significantly decreased in both EH and CHD groups (P <0.01, 0.01) (EH group r = 0.556, P <0.01; CHD group r = 0.419, P <0.05). Conclusion Detection of EH and CHD in blood CNP, NO, Ang Ⅱ, CGRP, ET content changes, the pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease research and its prevention and treatment is of great significance.
