《光明日报》今年9月7日在“学术新话”栏目里发表了俞吾金的《历史主义和历史性》的理论文章.文章提出:历史主义乃是一种注重研究对象的起源、演化和发展的发生主义的研究态度,历史性则显示的是研究者、研究对象和研究活动得以展示的先定历史境遇.两者之间的区别.首先,历史主义关涉到的是经验世界的事实.这些事实是在我们通常意识到的时间得以展示的.与此不同,历史性是先于经验的,它是经验世界的事实得以展示的前提.历史性关系到时间性,这种时间性不是我们在日常生活中感受到的、使经验事实得以展示的时间性,也不是研究者主观地感受的那种时间(这种时间具有随意性,是因人而异的).我们这里说的时间性乃是研究者无法超越,但又可以意识到它,并与它认同的社会客观时间.这种时间性是在生活世界的基础——人类的生存实践活动的本质中呈现出来的,而我们在日常生活中感受到的时间乃是在这种时间性的基础上展示出来的.其次,历史主义必然导致对研究对象的历史起源的崇拜和回溯.我们之所以对自然界的先在性(即自然界先于人而存在)、对人的认识起源问题怀着始终不衰的兴趣,其源盖出于这种历史主义的情结.相反,历史性最漠视的正是起源问题.它注重的乃是研究者何以在此,它涉及到的乃是研究者在开展一切研究活动之
