John Schumann于20世纪70年代末创立了文化适应理论。该理论从社会距离和心理距离角度探究了二语习得过程中出现的语言休克和洋泾浜化现象。而之后Anderson又进一步提出二语习得要经历本土化和去本土化的过程,即本土化模式。本文着重阐述文化适应模式以及本土化和去本土化的基本内容,并试图探究中国学生在英语学习过程中出现的语言休克现象及对教学的启示。
John Schumann founded the theory of cultural adaptation in the late 1970s. The theory explores the phenomenon of language shock and pheromone arising in second language acquisition from the perspective of social distance and psychological distance. Anderson then further proposed that second language acquisition go through the process of localization and de-localization, that is, the localization mode. This paper focuses on the mode of cultural adaptation as well as the localization and localization of the basic content, and attempts to explore Chinese students in English learning process of language shock phenomenon and its enlightenment on teaching.
