中职学校图书馆是学校的文献信息中心,是社会主义精神文明建设的宣传阵地和素质教育的重要基地,对中职学校德育教育有着自身的教育职能。中职学校图书馆要配合学校思想政治工作,积极参与、配合学校各种德育活动,把对学生思想道德教育贯穿到图书馆各项服务育人活动中去。图书馆潜移默化的德育功能具有其它部门无法替代的特殊作用。当今形势下,图书馆管理要摆正自己的定位,在充分发挥情报职能的同时,正确认识图书馆进行思想道德教育的功能,努力做到“管理育人,服务育人”。
