从1986年开始,渭阳柴油机厂正式投入生产使用的几台引进数控金切设备上,相继出现了刀具库存不多或已经没有库存的局面。为了维持正常生产,不得不向外商继续购买所需刀具。考虑到长期依赖刀具进口,不但价格昂贵,而且供货又不及时,从1987年2月起,该厂与北京理工大学合作,开始了引进刀具的国产化尝试。目前,已有部分刀具实现了国产化,不但为工厂带来了巨大的经济效益,更重要的是为企业解决了燃眉之急。现将有关情况作一介绍。
