Mention the teaching of Chinese characters, many people think that is the primary stage, middle school language teaching to the main chapter. The author believes that teaching Chinese characters is the foundation of Chinese teaching, which should run through the entire Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools, should not be relaxed. In view of the status quo of Chinese characters teaching, the author attempts to improve in Chinese teaching practice, except for the increase or decrease of different chapters in teaching time, with special attention to strengthening the guidance in the memorization strategy. First, the infiltration of knowledge of ancient writing, because of the shape of the Chinese characters are ideographic, sound shape and meaning of the combination of shape and meaning are closely linked. In the teaching of Chinese characters, it is helpful for students to understand the characters of ancient Chinese characters in a targeted way
