启动京剧《真假美猴王》的创排工作至首演整整经历了八个月。从征求专家意见、确定创作方案、打磨剧本、讨论舞台呈现样式,再到落地排练、最后合成彩排公演,这是一个非常艰辛的过程。虽然在三十多年前,上海京剧院创排过《真假美猴王》,当时的演出非常轰动,广受赞誉,但是我们认真研读该剧本后,发现与今天的审美情趣相去甚远。比如,开头虺龙加害唐僧的情节
