霍夫斯泰德在其《文化之重》中提出民族文化价值维度包括五个方面:权力距离、个人主义与集体主义、男性气质与女性气质、不确定性归避与不确定性的接受、短期定位与长期定位。后来的全球计划又从将其细化为九个方面,对其理论体系进行了完善。借助这两种文化价值体系理论,分析了在美亚裔企业,从各个指标点对比分析了印度和中国移民企业的异同,旨在说明企业特征的差异及管理方式的不同归因于移民社区各自不同的民族文化。
Hofstede proposed five dimensions of national cultural value in his “weight of culture”: power distance, individualism and collectivism, masculinity and femininity, acceptance of uncertainty and acceptance of uncertainty, Short-term positioning and long-term positioning. Later, the global plan has refined its theoretical system from the following nine aspects.
