临床医师发现收缩期额外心音已有多年,但直至最近10年,许多收缩期心音被认为是心外原因所引起。心血管造影及心腔内心音图的应用,已使此种心音的多数原因得以澄清,揭示出以往未疑及的基本心脏结构变化。
Clinicians have discovered that extra systolic heart sounds have been available for many years, but until recently, many systolic heart sounds were thought to be caused by extra-cardiac causes. The application of cardiovascular angiography and intracardiac phonocardiogram has clarified most of the causes of such heart sounds and revealed the changes of basic cardiac structure that have not been previously suspected.
