××同志:寄来的一束微型剧本(或曰“戏剧小品”)收到了。附札奉读,深感不安。我对这类作品接触很少。加之长时期以来演剧界重大轻小的倾向很严重(受票房价值的制约,也怪不得他们),作家们自然不愿耗费“无用功”,我们这些人所见就更少了。但近时情况有所好转。这要感谢中央电视台和有关部门,他们搞的比赛活动影响很大,也确实推出一些好作品,让人们看了耳目一新,赢得不少赞誉。此后,写的人开始增加了,特别是青年同志们。
Comrade XX: A miniature script (or “drama sketch”) was received. Reading notes attached, deeply disturbed. I have very little contact with this type of work. Coupled with the fact that the theater industry has a tendency to be so big and small since a long period of time (due to the box office value, it is no wonder that writers are naturally reluctant to spend “useless stuff” and we see even less. But the situation has improved recently. Thanks to CCTV and relevant departments, they have had a great influence on the competition activities and have really introduced some good works so that people can see everything fresh and new and win a lot of praise. Since then, writers began to increase, especially young comrades.
