“出门儿没有照相机是不可思议的,没有徕卡我就无从构思”米歇尔·梅约菲什是这样说的。更有甚者,他的朋友们说他是:用不着照相机,一进酒馆儿、咖啡馆儿就有想法儿的人。事实正是如此,小酒馆儿和咖啡馆儿是他最喜欢拍摄的场所,他认为这种看似小而普通的公共场所就象一个舞台,各色人物在里面进进出出,有的人想在里边聊一聊,有的人想独自小憩.静思一刻,而米歇尔的乐趣却是在这过往人群中用相机捕捉精彩的瞬间,他的作品于是也成功于这种亲密的、具有生活气息的环境中。他强调要表现生活的真实性。
“Going out without a camera is incredible, I can not conceive it without Leica” says Michelle Mayfair.
