Ferritic malleable iron is a typical material for plumbing applications. A variety of factors in production can lead to excessive tube hardness, resulting in poor machinability resulting in scrapped. This article discusses the causes of waste generation and suggests appropriate precautions and heat treatment techniques to bring the waste to life.
