四川省黔江县、彭水县郁山区是郁盐传统供应区。经过环境流行病学调查发现氟病区分布与郁盐销售范围不一致,非病区广泛分布在郁盐区;病区分布在海拔1000m左右中低山燃煤区,常有用无烟囱地炉燃煤取暖和熏烤玉米的习惯,煤烟玉米氟含量(均值)43.5mg/kg;在相邻的非郁盐区的小厂、鹿青乡发现生活煤烟污染型严重氟病区。在氟病区,郁盐是加重氟病发生的因素,生活煤烟的氟污染和玉米氟富集是主要病因。
