9月1日凌晨1时许,从宜昌上水开往重庆的豪华游船“银河2号”行驶到长寿扇沱的长寿特大桥下时触礁搁浅,全船160人(包括近百名外国游客和船务人员)被困。到凌晨3时许,被困人员全部安全上岸,98名客人被及时接往重庆安顿。9月2日凌晨4时左右,在河北省津保高速(天津--保定)容城段发生一起特大交通事故,造成7人死亡,包括两名司机在内的10人受重伤。9月3日上午10时,蚌埠市某高校一辆校车与一辆面包车在安徽财经大学附近东海大道与湖光路交叉口相撞,造成3人死亡,6人受伤。
