In September, Japan formally implemented an amendment to the “Food Sanitation Law” formulated to detect the excessive pesticide residues found in Chinese vegetables, which means that China faces more stringent trade barriers against Japan’s exports of vegetables. This year, some agricultural products exports in China have repeatedly run into trouble in the face of green barriers. First, since January, Japan implemented inspections of Chinese-made vegetables and intensified the fate of exports on vegetables, eels and other exports. Subsequently, the honey that I exported to the EU was banned because of “excessive antibiotics.” It was also reported later that the EU Import of tea to implement the new pesticide residue standards, and we should be weak, resulting in shrinking tea exports in Guangdong, are being squeezed out of the EU market.
