由于化学结构稳定,塑料产品难以自然降解,特别是聚苯乙烯,4个月仅降解0.01%-3%。近日,北京航天航空大学的杨军教授研究组、深圳华大基因公司赵姣博士等发表的论文表明:黄粉虫(面包虫)的幼虫可降解聚苯乙烯。实验用碳的稳定同位素~(13)C标记跟踪聚苯乙烯,发现聚苯乙烯在幼虫肠道内不超过24小时就被完全降解为二氧化碳或被吸收为虫体脂肪。1个月后,只吃聚苯乙烯的幼虫健康发育成成虫。这项让人惊喜不已的发现为“白色污染”
Due to its stable chemical structure, plastic products are difficult to degrade naturally, especially polystyrene, only degrade 0.01% -3% in 4 months. Recently, the Beijing Aerospace University Professor Yang Jun, Shenzhen Huada Gene Co. Dr. Zhao Jiao and other published papers show that: Tenebrio (bread worms) larvae can degrade polystyrene. Experiments using carbon stable isotope ~ (13) C-labeled polystyrene, found in the larval intestinal polystyrene within 24 hours was completely degraded to carbon dioxide or absorbed as parasitic fat.
