Taking the translation of Emily Dickinson ’s two poems as an example, this paper proves the necessity and importance of the translator’ s subjectivity in translating translators. At the same time, the translator ’s subjectivity must be based on respecting the subjectivity of authors, works and readers as Premise, to avoid the free expression in the translation “creative treason ” behavior. In translation, adherence to the principle of intersubjectivity, full respect for the status and role of each subject involved in translation, and the formation of an equal exchange and cooperation, compromise and balance among all subjects are the only way to obtain the best translation results.
