一些管理者在把企业向学习型组织转变的过程中困难重重,原因就在于创建一个学习型组织的途径不止一条。同样容易引起混淆的是,对“学习型组织”这一概念也有多种不同的定义。曾任彼兹堡大学教授、该校信息系统协会(AIS)主席、管理科学研究院院长、《管理信息系统季刊》主编的威廉·金为我们提供了一条具有可操作性的学习型组织的定义,以及如何创建学习型组织的六条策略,这些策略同样可以用来为组织的学习活动注入新的活力。此篇文章尽管较长,但仔细研读,会为我们创建学习型组织提供一种深度思考。
Some managers have difficulties in transforming their businesses into learning organizations. The reason is that there is more than one way to create a learning organization. Also confusingly, there are many different definitions of the concept of “learning organization.” Professor William King, who was once a professor at the University of Pittsburgh, chairman of the Institute of Information Systems (AIS), president of the Academy of Management Sciences, and editor-in-chief of the “Quarterly Management Information System,” provided us with an operational learning organization. Definitions, and how to create six strategies for learning organizations, these strategies can also be used to inject new vitality into the organization’s learning activities. Although this article is long, careful study will provide us with an in-depth reflection on creating a learning organization.
