近年来,随着全球经济的快速增长,石油和煤炭等化石资源的消耗大幅度上升,化石能源短缺危机已迫在眉睫,对生物质能等可再生能源的关注渐成热点,纤维素燃料乙醇的研究开发备受各国关注。提高木质纤维素生物质向液体燃料转化水平及经济性,已经成为当前面临的紧迫任务。在国家的大力支持下以及科研人员的努力下,我国的秸秆燃料乙醇技术取得了突出的成绩,在秸秆的收储运、原料预处理、酶水解和戊糖发酵等关键技术方面都取得了突破,但是对生产过程中富含木质素的残渣还没有进一步开发利用。对这种富含木质素的残渣进行开发利用,可从根本上提高秸秆燃料乙醇生产过程的经济性,将是一项融节能、环保及自然资源充分利用为一体的系统工程。

Breakthroughs have been made in such key technologies as straw storage and transportation, raw material pretreatment, enzymatic hydrolysis and pentose fermentation , But the lignin-rich residue in the production process has not been further developed and utilized. The development and utilization of this lignin-rich residue can fundamentally improve the economy of the straw fuel ethanol production process and will be a systematic project integrating energy saving, environmental protection and full utilization of natural resources.
