现代将通过在中国构筑30万辆的生产体系,使其在世界排名由第七位提升到第五位。2001年,现代集团将在中国构筑30万辆汽车生产体系,使现代汽车的世界排名由第七位提升到第五位。不久前,现代集团社长与中国银行签署协议,合作办理进口汽车的分期付款业务。其实现代在中国已有3个项目,一是悦达起亚,二是与江淮汽车合作的瑞风,三是武汉万通。以现代 H1为原型车的瑞风是较别克 GL8较小的 MPV,目前双方仅限于技术合作,而生产商务车的武汉万通也成绩平平。真正令现代心驰神往的是轿车项目。
Hyundai will upgrade its ranking in the world from the seventh to the fifth place by building 300,000 production systems in China. In 2001, Hyundai Group will build 300,000 car production systems in China, raising Hyundai’s world rankings from the seventh place to the fifth place. Not long ago, the president of Hyundai Group signed an agreement with Bank of China to cooperate in handling the installment payment of imported cars. In fact, there are already three projects in China. One is Yueda Kia, the other is the cooperation with Jianghuai Automobile and the third is Wuhan Wantong. The refinement of the Hyundai H1 prototype car is a smaller MPV than that of the Buick GL8. At present, the two parties are only limited to technical cooperation and Wuhan Wantong, which produces commercial vehicles, has achieved mediocre results. What really fascinates modernity is the sedan project.
