铁岭县平顶堡镇、催阵堡乡两个农科站,在铁岭县科委、铁岭市农科所科技人员指导下,从1988年起,首先开展了稻田以水带氮施肥技术的研究与应用。通过3年100多个小区对比试验及大面积示范,基本摸清了不同肥料、不同带氮次数、不同带氮方法的以水带氮施肥技术的增产规律。在试验研究的基础上,1990年这两个乡镇开展了大面积应用,面积达1.57万亩。秋后经23个点的对比调查,以水带氮施肥田块,平均亩产643.3公斤,对照田(常规水层追肥)平均亩产590.6公斤,前者比后者平均每亩增产52.7公斤,增产率为8.9%。除此而外,以水带氮追肥法具有明显的节水效果,节水率平均在10%以上。
