毛泽东向来重视党的翻译事业,他关于翻译工作的重要讲话和指示富有深刻的哲学内涵。矛盾与斗争是毛泽东翻译思想的哲学内核,政策和策略是毛泽东翻译思想的内在逻辑。毛泽东认为翻译是异化和归化的对立和统一,是意识形态斗争的表现形式,需要战略与战术的灵活运用,需要诠释和含蓄的微妙平衡。毛泽东翻译思想是其认识论思想在翻译工作中的灵活运用,对于纠正翻译界理论与实践相脱节的不良倾向,推动我国对外译介工作的健康发展有着重要的借鉴意义。
Mao Tse-tung has always attached great importance to the cause of the party’s translation and his important speech and instructions on translation work have profound philosophical connotations. Contradictions and struggles are the philosophical cores of Mao Tse-tung’s translation thoughts. The policies and tactics are the internal logic of Mao Tse-tung’s translation thoughts. Mao Tse-tung believes that translation is the opposition and unity of alienation and domestication. It is the manifestation of the ideological struggle. It requires the flexible use of strategy and tactics, and requires a subtle balance of interpretation and subtlety. Mao Zedong’s translation thought is its flexible use of the epistemological ideas in the translation work. It has an important reference for correcting the unhealthy tendencies of the theory and practice in translation field and promoting the healthy development of our country.
