于连和杜洛瓦分别是《红与黑》和《漂亮朋友》中的主人公,虽然出自不同作家的笔下,但两人有着很多相同之处:都处于社会的底层,但都不安现状,都有不断向上攀登的野心,在实现野心的道路上都不约而同地利用了身边的女人。但是两人的奋斗结果却大不相同,一个死于绞刑架之下,另一个却尽享荣华。本文从时代背景,生活环境和个人性格特点这几方面来对两个形象进行比较,分析造成他们不同人生结局的原因,从而对人物形象和作品主题有更深层的理解。
