Hui Yu, who lived more than 1,600 years ago, was a celebrity in the Wei and Jin period. It was an era of ”talking". The contents of the talks are somewhat similar to today’s academic debate. They use the words of Prof. Tang Yiming of the Chinese Department of Taiwan’s Political University: “The so-called Wei Jinqing talks refer to noble intellectuals in Wei and Jin Dynasties to explore the philosophy of life, society, and the universe. As the main content, argumentation and rhetoric are discussed in a basic manner.
