《旧唐书》、《新唐书》皆有“吐蕃传”。其他如《通典》、《唐会要》、《册府元龟》、《通志》及《太平环宇记》等史、地名著,也都有专记唐代吐蕃情俗的专篇。历史事实,已多有人考订。惟独地名,几乎无人考订。但如地名不能落实到地图上来,则历史事实也成了悬空飘渺的故事,不可能收古为今用之效。我们综合参验上列各书,与近世实测地图,考订传文中的地名,只是初步工作。希望从此开始,引出多种见解不同的讨论,去粗取精求得一是。 “Old Tang”, “New Tang” Jieyou “Tubo Biography.” Other such as “Tongdian”, “Tang will be”, “Yuan Fu Turtle”, “Annals” and “Taiping Huan Yu Kee” and other history, names, and also have a special Tang Dynasty Tibetan custom.
