一、导论20世纪(尤其是20世纪上半叶)的中国画所取得的成绩就是全面而丰富的。它与19世纪相比较,当略胜一筹,甚至可以说其水平毫不逊色于过去任何一个世纪。而岭南画派则是这一时代中国画坛的新兴力量。他们所提出的“折衷”论足足影响了一代人,直到今天,岭南画派仍然有其旺盛的生命力。应该说,岭南画派的产生首先与中国近代资产阶级民主革命运动的勃兴有密切关系。画派的中坚人物高剑父、高奇峰和陈树人,都曾积极投身辛亥革命,认为艺术关系国魂,把艺术革新作为唤醒民众、强国育民
I. Introduction The achievements made in Chinese painting in the 20th century (especially in the first half of the 20th century) are comprehensive and abundant. Compared with the 19th century, when it was slightly better, it can even be said to be no less inferior to any one in the past century. The Lingnan School is the emerging power of Chinese painting in this era. Their “compromise” theory has influenced a whole generation for a long time. Until today, the Lingnan School of Painting still has its strong vitality. It should be said that the emergence of the Lingnan School of Painting was first of all closely related to the rise of the modern bourgeois democratic revolution in China.
