荣获电影艺术和科学院最佳视觉效果奖的影片《角斗士》(Gladiator),受益于品尼高公司的视觉效果软件——Commotion。此外,所有被推荐参加视觉效果学院奖评选的影片,都在后期制作中使用了Commotion。伦敦的一家杰出的后期制作公司——Mill Film,选用了Commotion软件来完成《角斗士》中对竞技场上搏斗场面的3D造型。另一部影片《透明人》(Hollow Man)由于采用了Commotion的paint功能,使得主角看不见了。
Gladiator, winner of the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, benefited from MotionLink’s visual effects software, Pinnacle. In addition, all videos recommended for the Visual Effects Academy Awards are all used in post-production Commotion. Mill Film, an outstanding post-production company in London, chose Commotion software to complete the 3D styling of the fighting scenes in the arena in Gladiators. Another film, Hollow Man, was out of focus because of Commotion’s paint feature.
