在韩国学了服装设计,又在服装业工作了三年后,我来到了向往以久的服装设计圣地——法国,为的是进一步开扩眼界,加强自身的设计能力。然而,出于一种想从更广义的角度去学习与了解西方的艺术与设计观念,并进一步加强艺术创作的基础能力的想法,我没有直接涉足于服装设计领域,而是考入了美术学院,学习造型艺术。正是在与法国与世界各地的同学的交往中,在这特殊的艺术气氛中,我开始一点点地感受与了解了西方人的生活观、艺术观。尤其是对现代与当代艺术的创作与评论的准则。这使我逐步地看到了东、西方文化的不同之处以及她们各自的优劣。对我来说,几年美院的生活是一个适应环境,了解文化渊源,寻找艺术感觉,培养艺术品味的过程。也正是在美院学习的基础为我在这之后的服装设计的学习奠定了另一种可能,使我能以另一种角度去寻找与追求。
After studying fashion design in Korea and working in garment industry for three years, I came to France, the long-awaited costume design shrine, in order to further open up my eyes and strengthen my design ability. However, for a broader idea of learning and understanding western art and design concepts, and further strengthening the basic ability of artistic creation, I did not directly involved in the field of fashion design, but admitted to the Academy of Fine Arts , Learn the art of modeling. It is in the interaction with French students all over the world. In this special artistic atmosphere, I began to feel and understand Westerners’ concept of life and art a little bit. Especially the guidelines for the creation and commentary of modern and contemporary art. This made me gradually see the differences between East and West cultures and their respective advantages and disadvantages. For me, the life of the Academy for a few years is a process that adapts to the environment, understands the cultural origins, looks for the artistic feeling, and cultivates the artistic taste. It is also the basis of study in the Academy of Art which laid the other possibility for my study on fashion design after that, so that I could look for and pursue from another perspective.
