一关于身体位置自由泳理想的身体位置是肩、髋尽量高,优秀运动员身体位置一般都很高。判别身体姿势正确与否的方法有三:一是看呼吸时同侧肩是否过多上抬,对侧肩是否向下沉。过份的上抬或下沉会增加水对人体的阻力。二是看髋部是否向两侧摆动。过度摆动会造成臂部肌肉紧张,手臂划水离髋部太近,从而减少划水的力量。三是观察运动员头部位置。一般来说正确的位置是水面齐额部。短距离游的运动员头部易上抬,这样会造成肘部下沉,而减少划水力量并使身体形成反弓形。印弟安纳州立大学曾有人做实验,要求运动员头部保持在水面齐眉的位置,认为这样可减少40%的阻力。
