After launching Javelin, anti-armor missiles have launched shoulder-fired launches. Originally known as Medium, the “Javelin” was intended to replace the “Dragon” cable guided anti-tank missiles. It was commissioned by Texas Instruments and Martin Marley ETA company jointly developed for the US Army and Marine Corps.
