Objective: To investigate the working pressure and subjective well-being of infectious disease nurses in hospitals and their influencing factors, and to provide reference for the formulation of policies and measures for communicable disease managers. Methods: A total of 165 nurses in a tertiary infectious disease hospital were surveyed by using the Nurses Pressure Inventory, Campbell Happiness Scale and General Questionnaire. Results: The working pressure of nurses in infectious diseases scored 97.67 ± 18.67, which was higher than that of domestic research (78.77). The total score of subjective well-being was 9.13 ± 2.01, which was significantly lower than that of norm. Job stress and subjective well-being were significantly negatively correlated. Conclusion: To reduce the working pressure and improve the subjective well-being of nurses in infectious hospitals, measures should be taken from three aspects: the government, hospital administrators and nurses themselves.
