吴趼人(1866年-1910年),名沃尧,一名宝震,字小允、茧人、趼人,人尊称茧叟、茧翁,广东南海(佛山)人。出生于北京,因居佛山,在佛山度过青少年时代,自称我佛山人。吴趼人幼年丧父,至上海谋生,于江南制造局担任书记,时常有抄写工作,常为报纸撰写小品文。1897年开始在上海创办小报,先后主持过《字林沪报》《寓言报》等,并在
