When I was collecting wind on the coast of Minnan, I found that many fishermen are still using an ancient and unique hardwood utensils. The cutlery, nearly 20 centimeters long and about 0.5 centimeters in thickness, has a singular shape, with the silhouette of a half-headed half-length figure on the upper part and the rudder-shaped part on the lower part. Its name is also surprising: “Rice rudder”. It is said that with the common customs in southern Fujian Taiwan coastal areas, there are also ancient strange, cute wooden tableware.
