In August 1997, I was fortunate enough to go to Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, to inspect the landscaping there. Pyongyang and his entourage feel a lot and are impressed and have benefited greatly. The landscaping features of this beautiful city reflect the development trend of modern gardens. Pyongyang is one of the world recognized garden cities. The city has a population of 2 million, and the average per capita is 47m~2.
