长沙市天心区拥有40万人口,面积102平方公里,下辖9街1镇,是长沙市的经济强区、生态新区和文化名区。天心区是省会长沙的南大门,地处长株潭的结合部,地理优势得天独厚,芙蓉南路、107国道、京广铁路穿越而过,湘江倚区北上汇入洞庭,一二三环线环环相绕,黄花机场、火车南站、宝庆码头四通八达。天心区是长沙市的商业大区,三产业占GDP比重达64.3%,长沙市的名老字号大部分集中于此,黄兴南路步行商业街和坡子街民俗名食街的建成,更确立了天心区在长沙市的商业中心地位。天心区聚集了天心古阁、白沙古井、第一师范、贾谊故居等一大批历史文化遗产,湖湘文化底蕴厚重,区内拥有新世纪体育文化中心、田汉大剧院等新型文体设施,还拥有13家科研院所和22所大中专院校。天心区具备山水相映、滨江望岳的自然环境和植被完好、绿化率高的生态特色,以芙蓉南路为轴线的天心生态新城将建设成为21世纪人与自然和谐发展的生态示范城。近年来,天心区的发展取得了令人瞩目的成绩,先后通过了全国社区卫生服务示范城区国家级验收、全国卫生示范区省级验收;获得了全国社会治安综合治理先进集体、省级文明城区、全省再就业工作先进集体、全省计生优质服务先进城区、全省社区建设示范城区等荣誉称号。
Tianxin District of Changsha City has a population of 400,000 and covers an area of 102 square kilometers. It is under the jurisdiction of 9th Street and 1 town. It is an economic strong area, an ecological new area and a cultural area in Changsha. Tianxin District is the southern gate of the provincial capital of Changsha, is located in the junction of Chang-Zhu-Tan, the unique geographical advantages, Fleur South Road, 107 National Road, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway through the north of Xiangjiang River into Dongting, Around, Huanghua Airport, South Railway Station, Baoqing pier extending in all directions. Tianxin District is a major commercial area in Changsha. The tertiary industry accounts for 64.3% of GDP. Most of the old and famous in Changsha are concentrated here. The construction of pedestrian commercial street in Huangxing South Road and Folk Street in Pozi Street is more established Tianxin District in Changsha City Commercial Center. Tianxin District gathered a large number of historical and cultural heritages such as Tianxin Ancient Court, Baisha Furui, First Normal and Jiayi Former Residence. Huxiang boasts a rich cultural heritage and possesses new cultural and sports facilities such as the New Century Sports and Cultural Center and Tian Han Grand Theater. It also has 13 Research institutes and 22 colleges and universities. Tianxin District has the landscape of nature, the natural environment of Binjiang Wangyue, the intact vegetation and the high afforestation rate. The Tianxin Ecological New City with the axis of Furong South Road will be built into an ecological demonstration city of harmonious development between man and nature in the 21st century. In recent years, the development of Tianxin District has made remarkable achievements. It has successively passed the national inspection and acceptance of the National Model Community Health Service Center and the provincial inspection and acceptance of the National Demonstration Zone of Health.
