郭沫若的历史小说同他的历史剧一样 ,在陈述历史的同时 ,也同现代文化语境达到了精神上的契合。他的历史小说在对封建的批判和对中华民族脊梁式的人物形象的塑造中 ,注入了五四以来的民主、科学精神 ,实现了作家识破历史密码以透视现实社会与人生价值的自觉追求 ,反映了作家在现代意识的观照下 ,试图用理性审视来寻求现代国家、人生的救赎之途的创作旨归。对历史上旧的统治者“天命”、“做假”的戳穿与对脊梁式人物身上的负面因素的揭示 ,是实现其创作目标的两大武器
Like his historical drama, Guo Moruo’s historical novels present a spiritual fit with modern cultural contexts while making history.
